On Sunday the 15th
October 2000, TTFC programme editor Andrew Meaden and 1999/2000
top scorer Neil Kirkpatrick fulfilled a lifetime ambition by
playing on the hallowed Wembley turf.
Tim Foster (Reds) with all 30 players rotating and everyone on
the pitch for the last 5 minutes.
but both our TTFC heroes came close. Andrew Meaden
produced a cool low shot that the
goalkeeper just managed to get
down to with his left hand and Neil Kirkpatrick produced
a super
“Wembley fit” volley only to see an equally fine save from
Philip Eades.

after the game and everyone had the chance to lift the cup
having walked up the famous Wembley steps.
